Lots going on at Shirehampton JTE over the coming weeks.
We are very pleased to say we are a Welcoming Space. Our hub will be open for people to drop in for any of our activities, to have a tea and chat or to charge your mobile.
On Tuesday 15th November we will be hosting another job fair.
If you are looking for a full or part time role drop in and have face to face discussions with local employers from various sectors.
We will also be offering advice on transport, training and enterprise.
If you are an employer with vacancies to fill feel free to get in touch. We are particularly keen on school time or flexible hours.
On Tuesday nights you will find our regular board game nights. Feel free to stop by and make new friends and try some new games. Everything is provided – even the tea and snacks!

From April 26th Hub’s Cups Cafe will be every Tuesday from 11am until 12.30pm.
No appointment is required, just drop in and we will be on hand to offer advice and guidance on everything from using the internet to starting a business.

On June 14th we will be hosting our very first job’s fair. Working with Bristol City Council, Severnnet, The DWP and local businesses we will have a variety of employers looking for full and part time staff.
Advisers will also be on hand to help remove some of the barriers to getting into employment.
The event is free and no appointment is necessary, just pop in and find out how we can help you.

Shirehampton JTE Hub offers space and facilities for job searching, training and self-employment development to improve opportunities for our local community. We are a community-led initiative, set up by Shirehampton Methodist Church in response to and with capital funding from Bristol City Council’s Port Resilience Communities Fund (PCRF).
